Apple Releases Safari 5.0.1, And The Much Needed Safari Extensions Gallery

Apple Safari Extensions Gallery

Apple has officially released its browser’s latest version Safari 5.0.1, and along with it comes the most anticipated (at least for Mac & Apple lovers) Safari Extensions Gallery, that lets you add various new features to the browser. The extensions are built with HTML4, CSS3 and Javascript web technology, and now you can install extensions from trusted developers on Safari Extensions Gallery or, at your own risk from the developers’ sites.

The very first extensions to enter the gallery are reportedly the Amazon Wish List extension, Bing Extension, NY Times Updates Extension, and Twitter for Safari which are also the featured ones now.
